Venue Setting

Capital C is the creative hub of Amsterdam, located in the old Diamond Exchange. Capital C offers space for events, meetings, offices, exhibitions and its own culinary restaurant and bar: Capital Kitchen. A unique venue where you're surrounded by Dutch Design and art throughout the whole building. On the roof you'll find a stunning event & conference space which has a gigantic glass dome with a roof terrace, which offers a unique 360-degree view over all the highlights of Amsterdam. The Scene:

What once was the centre of the Amsterdam Diamond Trade, you can now find the new creative hub of the city: Capital C. On the banks of the Amstel river, the historic building anno 1911 had a few faceliftst over the years, but the end result speaks for itself. Creativity, art, innovation and inspiration can be found in every nook and cranny of the building.

In what once was the centre of the Amsterdam diamond trade, you can now find the new creative hub of the city: Capital C. Twenty Dutch designers worked on the interior of our event venues and meeting rooms.

Our meeting rooms by Dutch designers are not just super good-looking – they’re designed to elevate your meeting and help you crush your business goals between Dutch Design. Here for an event (or conference, product launch, award show, dinner and many more)? Hop on the evelator and be amazed by the Highlight, a rooftop location under a breathtaking glass dome with private rooftop terrace with a 360 view over all the high lights of Amsterdam.

Our state-of-the-art facility can accommodate up to 400 guests, offering flexible spaces with movable walls that can be transformed into an exhibition area or three separate break-out rooms. You’ll also have access to two well-equipped board rooms and top-notch AV equipment. But that’s just the beginning. Imagine hosting your conference at a rooftop location under a breathtaking glass dome with private rooftop terrace, we like to call the High Light. Our tailor-made venue provides endless options for branding, allowing you to make it truly your own, if needed.

Meeting Rooms:
Each room is equipped with a large TV screen for your presentations and video calls. Our wireless TEOS connection can connect to your laptop for the perfect presentation. There’s also a whiteboard and flip chart readily available in every room for your mind maps, brainstorms and random ideas. In need of any technical assistance? Our facility boys & girls are always ready at your service.

No one can work on an empty stomach. Fuel the success of your business session with our special meeting arrangements. Pick the package that matches the duration of your meeting. The Modern Fossil:: Dirk van der Kooij’s signature meeting room is an ode to the end of an era of records and CDs. The Round Room:: The Circle of Life meeting room, born from spontaneity, was never intended to feature all kinds of round objects – it just happened. The Sky Scape:: Richard Hutten likes ideas that come from having your head in the sky. Surrounded by a curtain made of an aerial photograph, the room is set up in the clouds. The Above:: The Above is a generously sized conference room equipped with a stage (the stage is yours). Next to it is The Beyond, another conference room. Each of these rooms can accommodate up to 70 people and features its own stage. Capital Kitchen: The best ingredients brought together by our passionate kitchen teams make for heaven on a plate (if you ask us). But there is more to expect: creativity, art, drinks, music, staff and guests are ingredients on the menu. We offer you a creative brainwave for lunch, dinner and drinks in the middle of an art experience.

Our chef, Dave Wijnschenk, knows his way around pure and flavour-rich food. Where classic and not-so classic dishes blend with creative and artistic finesse. We love to surprise you and your guests, and go the extra mile to make sure you leave our kitchen happy ánd fullfilled.

Little tip: Take your lunch or dinner to the next level and ask our sommelier Regi for some amazing wine pairings. He has the finest regional wines selection in his wine gallery (- yes, it’s a thing).

Bars & Lounges:

Capital Kitchen is not only the place to be when it comes to lunch and dinner, it's the perfect spot to wind down after work or stop by for a well-deserved drink with your friends. Beer, wine, signature cocktail or mocktail; we have all the ingredients for a great evening! And if you’re into the art of music, then you’re in for a treat. Every Thursday Audio Collective brings the beats from 17:30 onwards. Don’t be surprised if you suddenly find yourself on the dance floor – our DJ has a habit of turning even the most timid toe-tappers into dance floor legends.
