Not only can you dine on freshly plucked local fruits and vegetables, but you can also book this venue for weddings and stay in their adorable bed and breakfast cottages. Insider Tip: Call ahead to reserve a table and don't forget to take a side trip to go see the postcard-perfect Taal Volcano while you're in the area.
It's time to dive into the fascinating history, culture and landmarks of the Philippines by way of Intramuros. This walled-city is filled with cobblestone streets, steepled churches and Spanish architecture. Insider Tip: If you want a fun, non-traditional guided tour, look up performance artist Carlos Celdran. His theatrical tours are both amusing and informative.
If there's anything to know about Filipinos, it's that we LOVE to eat. There are endless options for restaurants, but Hey Handsome definitely tops my list.
