Venue Features
The Scene:
Located on the corner of 7th and Olive Street in Downtown L.A., NoMad Los Angeles continues in the spirit of the original NoMad in New York by taking residence in the historic building, Giannini Place.
Design:
Originally built in the 1920s as the headquarters for The Bank of Italy, the building’s gold and blue Italianate lobby ceiling has been fully restored and serves as inspiration throughout. Honoring its rich history, NoMad naturally balances the integrity and character of the Neoclassical landmark with a contemporary California design sensibility.
Standout Venue Features:

Building upon the celebrated NoMad in New York, for the first restaurant outside of their hometown, Chef Daniel Humm and Restaurateur Will Guidara have reimagined their vision of dining at the grand hotel in Downtown L.A.

Inspired by local ingredients and the vibrant culture and traditions of Los Angeles, NoMad offers a variety of options for dining, drinking and socializing in the heart of this dynamic neighborhood.

Eats & Drinks
Food, Restaurants, Cafes, Bars & Lounges
Food, Restaurants, Cafes:
The Lobby’s sunlit, casually-elegant restaurant and bar is found on the ground floor. It sits beneath the building’s original, 1920s blue and gold Italianate ceiling, which has been meticulously restored to its full grandeur.

Inspired by the iconic grand cafés of Venice, Italy, The Coffee Bar offers an elegant space for a morning coffee and a pastry, a leisurely afternoon espresso or aperitif, or an evening cocktail.

Overlooking the sun-soaked Lobby below, The Mezzanine offers our most formal dining options. It is both bustling and refined; stately and convivial.
Bars & Lounges:
Handsome and well-appointed, The Giannini Bar features a wide selection of classic and proprietary cocktails crafted by our award-winning bar director, Leo Robitschek. Leo and his team received the honor of "America's Best Bar Team" at the 2017 Spirited Awards. Additionally, The NoMad Bar in New York was recently recognized as “Best Bar in North America” and ranked #3 in the world at the 2017 World’s 50 Best Bars.

With sweeping views of Downtown Los Angeles’s skyline and the city expanse below, The Rooftop features an outdoor café, cocktail bar, and lushly landscaped pool area - all designed by Jacques Garcia.
