What do Yorkshire, Pennsylvania and Napa Valley have in common? All are home to some pretty incredible barn venues. In this line-up of venues we love, we’re sharing some of the best barns of 2019. Some are very old and date back centuries, while others are new to the events scene. Some have towering cathedral ceilings and stone fireplaces, while others have big windows that let in a ton of natural light. Many are set on rolling hills and pastoral land, surrounded by trees, gardens and farm animals.
Whether you're planning a wedding, corporate event, dinner party or family reunion, these barns are up to the party task.

Located between Chicago and Detroit, this 1930s dairy barn in Benton Harbor has been running strong as a weddings and events venue for a decade. The dairy barn is rustic and has a couple of balconies and big wrought iron chandeliers along with a charming outdoor courtyard area that’s flanked by a couple of silos.
Set overlooking the coast just on the road into Mendocino, Spring Ranch is a property with a grove of eucalyptus trees, a large Victorian home and a couple of rustic barns filled with collected antiques and architectural salvage. Weddings here typically take place in the barn and have the option to stay in the house and the carriage house for the weekend.
Rolling hills of vineyards, towering oaks, a century-old farmhouse and a white New Hampshire style barn greet guests as the arrive at Hammersky Vineyards. This party spot in Paso Robles can host up to 100 guests at a time for weddings, rehearsal dinners, wine tasting parties, bridal showers, family parties, corporate events, and more.
This family-owned, Texas venue's barn is all-white, 7,500 square feet, and has a wall of windows and several champagne chandeliers throughout. If that's not enough, the manicured grounds and 4,000 square foot classic home will surely seal the deal. This crisp barn is a luxurious, modern take on the Texas ranch wedding.
Set in the heart of Napa Valley, Triple S Ranch is a Calistoga resort that includes cozy cottages, a grand old Victorian home and a dairy barn that dates back to the 1860s. The beautiful vistas are endless, with old growth trees, vineyards and orchards, making a fantastic setting for retreats, weddings, corporate off-sites and other private events.
A trio of 18th century barns sit perched on a hilltop in upstate New York, surrounded by forests, open fields, a pond and an aspen grove. An event at the Historic Barns of Nipmoose gives guests a glimpse of what agricultural life must’ve been like way back when, and the barns also provide a rustic, secluded setting where guests can be encouraged to explore each space in a different way.
If you’re looking for a barn venue that feels bright and modern, you’ll want to check out Double R Ranch in Calistoga. The property’s three-bedroom farmhouse can host your overnight guests while the whitewashed barn is a great space for a wedding reception, product launch, dinner party, workshop, rehearsal dinner or another gathering of your choosing.
Experience the beauty of Michigan's countryside at this pastoral farmstead. For events of up to 300 guests, Zingerman’s Cornman Farms has plenty of space for tents, lawn games, and gatherings in its two-story barn. The Red Barn, built in 1837, was restored to its original state while enhancing its beauty with two wood-burning fireplaces, heating and air-conditioning, built-in bar, outdoor pergola and an elevator.
This secluded ranch property in Sonoma’s wine country is home to a converted Arabian horse barn and offers event space for up to 500 guests. The beautiful backdrops are endless, with lots of oak trees, forested hills and a lovely lake on the grounds.

The Barn at Silverstone's grounds have been meticulously restored from the 1800s and feel like a trip to an old-style European farm with all of the creature comforts of today.
