Located in the Arts District of Los Angeles, this 1928 fire-station-turned-hotel offers four event spaces to accommodate you and your guests no matter how intimate or extravagant your celebration may be. Whether you decide to throw a team happy hour at the fire pit bar or elegant rehearsal dinner on the cover patio, the Firehouse Hotel has the perfect background for any get-together.
Bavel is out to change your perception of the Middle Eastern restaurant from "dark and patterned" to light and airy – the pièce de résistance is the suspended plant system in the center of the space. Large parties of 9 to 14 can be seated in the main dining room (under those plants, no less), while groups of up to 22 guests can takeover the covered patio. Have a group over 22? Bavel also offers complete buyouts.
If you’re looking to impress your friends with a private party and views of the ocean, this spot should be at the top of your list. Elephante has a private room overlooking the beach with its own bar and balcony, where you fit up to 70 guests for an epic southern Mediterranean style dinner.
Expanding upon the celebrated NoMad in New York, the Los Angeles location offers a unique space to socialize in the heart of this dynamic neighborhood while admiring the city’s rich history. Taking residence in the historic Giannini Place building, this glamorous spot features nine private dining areas where your crew can enjoy a variety of dining and drinking options inspired by local ingredients and the vibrant culture of Los Angeles.
You’ll be able to fit about 20 of your favorite party guests in the private dining space at FIG Restaurant. The food here is casual California style, just like the atmosphere and features dishes from the wood burning oven and wood burning grill.
Providing a dining experience that’s much like that of Sundays’ past in your abuela’s home, Broken Spanish offers a comfortable atmosphere where it’s easy to gather with a group. There are a couple of options for private and semi-private dining, as well as options for cocktail parties if you’re looking for something more casual.
The sunny, colorful space at DTLA’s Redbird is always a great place to get together with friends. With multiple floors and various private dining spaces, there’s something for every group hang from a dozen guests to as many as 800.
A poolside oasis in the heart of Koreatown, Openaire is the brainchild of two-star Michelin chef Josiah Citrin. The space is a stunner and the outdoor/indoor combo makes it great for hosting a daytime event. The menu here is totally Californian, with local and seasonal dishes best shared.
Plant Food + Wine is on a mission to prove that your holiday gathering can be a healthy feast that’s guilt-free. The menu here is all about the veggies, grains and legumes. As for the gathering spaces, you can choose from a garden patio, a small wine room, a dining room with a fireplace or takeover the main interior restaurant space.

Take over the back patio at B.S. Taqueria for a night of enjoying chips and guac, tacos and enchiladas with up to 75 of your amigos. Don’t forget to order a few pitchers of mezcal margaritas for the table!
You can schedule a private wine tasting with paired bites for your crew at this Santa Monica wine shop and bar. There’s the option of taking over the patio, the shop or just as much space as you need at Esters.
Traditional Spanish flavors are served with a modern spin at The Bazaar by José Andrés in Beverly Hills. Here, you can indulge in your darker side by booking the rojo space with a group of up to a hundred, or spread out in a the lighter, brighter blanco room and spill onto the terrace with a crew.
